Terms of Service
1. Service description
COD Verifier is a SaaS product that sends WhatsApp Business confirmation messages to end-customers at e-commerce checkout when a cash-on-delivery (COD) order is placed. Orders that receive no confirmation reply within 24 hours are automatically cancelled via the merchant's store API before fulfillment ("auto-cancel").
COD Verifier is provided by AVBoost Agency ("we", "us"). By accessing or using the service, you ("merchant", "you") agree to these terms.
2. Merchant responsibilities
- You must hold a valid WhatsApp Business Account and comply with Meta's WhatsApp Business Policy and Messaging Policy.
- You are responsible for ensuring that you have obtained the required consent from your customers to receive transactional WhatsApp messages.
- You must provide accurate store credentials (OAuth tokens or API keys) and keep them current.
- You must not use COD Verifier to send promotional, marketing, or spam messages. The service is for transactional order-confirmation use only.
3. Auto-cancel mechanics
If a COD order receives no customer reply within 24 hours of the confirmation message being sent, COD Verifier will issue a cancellation request to your store via the relevant platform API. This behaviour is core to the service and cannot be disabled for active integrations. You acknowledge that:
- Cancelled orders are not recoverable through COD Verifier.
- The 24-hour window starts from the time the WhatsApp message is delivered (or first attempted).
- Platform API failures that prevent auto-cancel are retried; persistent failures generate an alert to the merchant email on file.
4. Subscription plans and billing
Plans (Free, Standard at $25/mo, Growth at $49/mo) are billed monthly. Verification limits reset on the calendar-month billing cycle. Overages on the Free plan result in verification pausing (not auto-cancellation of all remaining orders). Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
Payments processed by Stripe. Refunds at our discretion for billing errors; prorated refunds not available.
5. Data and privacy
We process order data and customer phone numbers as your data processor. Our Privacy Policy governs how we handle that data. You are the data controller for your customers' information.
6. Intellectual property
COD Verifier and its underlying software are owned by AVBoost Agency. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service during your paid subscription.
7. Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". We are not liable for: failed WhatsApp deliveries due to Meta infrastructure; orders incorrectly auto-cancelled due to delayed webhook delivery from your store platform; or revenue lost as a result of auto-cancellation. Our total liability is limited to fees paid in the 30 days preceding the claim.
8. Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time from the billing dashboard. We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach of these terms, Meta policy violations, or non-payment after a 7-day cure period.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Frankfurt am Main.
